Most importantly, we want to eliminate the risk of contamination from manual hand-washing, which, if not done properly, can become a health hazard in your business. How it works
The technology behind every cycle
Targeted pathogen elimination
Scrubzone targets and disables disease-causing microorganisms and pathogens that commonly can't be reached by manual hand-washing procedures.
Four defences, one cycle
A combination of UV-C disinfection technology, antibacterial soap, pressurised water, an innovative bristle brush and a carefully designed wash chamber work together in every cycle.
Continuous self-disinfection
When the machine isn't in use, UV-C light stays active, continuously disinfecting the turning brush and wash chamber, ready for the next cycle.
Clean airflow by design
Airflow from the integrated air dryer circulates air from the UV-C disinfection chamber, ensuring no airborne pathogens are spread during drying.
Nothing to touch
There are no buttons or levers to activate a cycle: no touchpoints on the machine can harbour dangerous pathogens.
Remote monitoring
The system connects via WiFi to report breakdowns or low soap levels, with a compliance monitor that tracks how many people, and how often, are washing their hands.

Testing covered removal of harmful pathogens from hands, removal of cross-contamination risk, and hand health after continuous use. Here's what the tests proved.

Questions
A few things people ask us
Is the machine customisable for my needs?
Yes, length of wash, water and soap volume, drying time and water temperature are all configurable, with an optional RFID hygiene-tracking facility per user.
Who / how is the machine serviced and maintained?
Each Scrubzone machine undergoes an annual service for replacement of the 2x UV lights and, if needed, the brush. Beyond that, the machine self-disinfects between washes and requires daily/weekly cleaning with G-germ degreaser and the included Vikan hygienically designed brushes.
